Foreshadow (www.foreshadowya.com) was a serial YA anthology and online platform dedicated to short fiction, showcasing underrepresented voices and emerging writers. Crowdfunded through Indiegogo in 2018, it launched as a monthly online publication in 2019 — each issue pairing original stories with craft essays and commentary.
Built on Rails, the platform supported the full editorial pipeline from submissions to publication. The project culminated in a print anthology, FORESHADOW: The Magic of Reading and Writing YA, published by Algonquin Young Readers in 2020.
